I’m a big advocate of self-sufficiency, and I’m worried sometimes that upcoming generations aren’t going to have any idea how to survive without supermarkets and home delivery.

Admitedly, most of what I practice are hobby-skills; I brew beer, make bread, turn wood, build electronics, craft simple furniture, etc.  But I do have ambitions. I’ve never made bacon, for example. Here’s a great tutorial I’m going to try out; be sure to write if you do, too.
