This little drone is an amazing cluster of technology; it would be a lot of fun to fly around the neighborhood. The question is, what are the privacy implications of a cloud of cheap, silent, flying government surveillance platforms flitting around above us?

Of course, that hasn’t happened yet. Nothing to worry about; it’s only under evaluation by MI5, Metro Police, and other agencies.  Meanwhile, while video surveillance is more widespread than ever, the actual crime-fighting value of this technology is not all that clear. So what else could they be for?
