Nine months ago, long before there was a Ron Paul bandwagon, I was getting this “Who is Ron Paul?” question a lot. I still do, though more and more people are hearing the message for themselves every day. I’m an author, not a political activist, but I’ve realized lately that doing something for a cause I believe in should be a part of every workweek. So this should take me through Sunday.
Glenn Greenwald has written an excellent article on the Ron Paul phenomenon, and in the course of it, he directs readers to this video. Like the hand-lettered yard-signs of the early campaign, it was made by supporters, not by a PR machine, so it might not be as slick and spoonfed a production as we’ve come to expect from our national candidates. That’s exactly why I like it.
